Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Specialist to provide guidance and collaborate with Cloud Administration teams. The role requires strong proficiency in Azure cloud environments, PowerShell scripting, and experience with security compliance. Ideal candidates will have relevant certifications and a solid understanding of cloud security principles. This hybrid position requires the candidate to be at the Hamilton office two days a week.

Job description

Hybrid - Requires 2 days a week on-site in Hamilton, ON.

The Role :

Proficiency in Azure cloud environments.

Cloud project guidance and collaboration with Cloud Administrator teams

Requirements :

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Exchange Online and EOP
• Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Defender for Cloud and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel for security operations.

Preferred Certifications :

• Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified : Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
• Only candidates who currently reside in Canada will be considered.
• Contractors must be incorporated or named as Directors of a Canadian corporation.
