Job description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the migration of data and applications to the cloud. This involves developing a robust framework for data migration, ensuring seamless transition of assets to client's Snowflake Data and Azure Cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement a data migration strategy that accelerates the migration process.
• Migrate CMIA team's assets to client's Cloud platforms.
• Maintain and improve software solutions and infrastructure supporting systematic investment processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes and develop best practices for deployment and management of assets.
• Design and develop new solutions to support Capital Markets investment desks.

Requirements :

Degree and Experience

An undergraduate or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering or Computer Science is required. A minimum of 8 years of software design / development experience, with at least 5 years full-time working as a cloud engineer and / or data engineer, preferably within the financial industry.

Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure and AKS.
• Experience with web development frameworks such as React and Django.
• Proficiency in database and data engineering tools like Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, Airflow / Astronomer, Stored Procedures, SSIS, and DBT.
• Familiarity with DevOps / Agile methodologies including Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Nexus.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment and communicate with systems professionals and Capital Markets business users.
