Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Aurora, ON is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (RPN) to supervise Personal Support Workers delivering in-home care, ensuring safe, ethical, and quality services within the community.

You will lead, coach, and mentor staff, coordinate with nursing colleagues, and support clinical documentation and reporting to funders, while maintaining professional development and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

  • Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and entitled to practice without restrictions.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Practical Nurse.
  • Understanding of community nursing and home health care principles.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong clinical documentation knowledge and adherence to standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to obtain Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) and comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Personal Support Workers to ensure practices meet standards and policies.
  • Respond to and resolve concerns from staff, patients, families, and team members.
  • Provide leadership through huddles, meetings, and one-on-ones.
  • Support clinical documentation and funder reporting guidelines.
  • Engage patients and staff in problem solving with education and mentorship.
  • Maintain current knowledge of home health care practice standards.
