Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an experienced Assistant, Clinical Research to support the Research Innovation and Evaluation department in Prince George, BC. The role involves operational, clinical and administrative duties aligned with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

The position emphasizes collaboration with investigators and the Northern Centre for Clinical Research, with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health or health-research related field plus 1 year clinical research experience, trials experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ICH GCP, FDA) and Tri-Council requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, clinical and administrative support for departmental clinical research activities.
• Assist investigators in collaboration with Northern Centre for Clinical Research.
• Maintain compliance with research policies and study protocols.
• Support data management, analysis and reporting as needed.
