Job summary

Lifemark Health Group in Edmonton is seeking a Registered Clinical Psychologist to join our provincial mental health programs. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate return-to-work for clients with complex injuries, primarily in workplace health and motor vehicle injury claims.

Qualifications

• Registered Psychologist in good standing with the Alberta College of Psychologists.
• Experience in clinical, counselling, rehabilitation or health psychology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Knowledge of WCB/insurance and workplace health is an asset.
• Experience with psychological assessments (MMPI-3, PAI) is an asset.
• Experience with occupational rehabilitation claims is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and intervention for programs with workplace injuries and other extended health claims.
• Apply CBT approaches using client-centered interventions and tools.
• Deliver timely comprehensive reporting and share findings with the treatment team and referral sources.
• Provide psychological case management input to interdisciplinary team members on progress and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to rehabilitate individuals with complex work-related injuries.
