Job summary

Associated Youth Services of Peel (AYSP) invites applications for Clinical Program Supervisors to join our team in Mississauga. The roles are full-time with two vacancies (one permanent, one maternity leave) and a hybrid work arrangement with the Head Office in Peel Region.

You will provide clinical and administrative supervision to counsellors, contribute to program planning, build partnerships, recruit and train staff, and monitor program performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in mental health, including supervisory/leadership experience.
• Registration in the appropriate regulatory body under the Psychotherapy Act is required.
• Knowledge of CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, care management, crisis intervention, youth engagement, family therapy and trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity with Peel child/youth and adult services; experience building collaborations with community partners.
• Fluency in French or other languages is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision for a team(s) of registered Counsellors
• Assist with program planning and development and community capacity building
• Provide leadership and work collaboratively with community partners and children, youth and families
• Facilitate individual and peer supervision meetings, as per the program model(s)
• Establish and maintain professional alliances with community agencies
• Assist in the recruitment of prospective staff and provide orientation and training to program staff
• Monitor program targets to ensure maximum utilization of the program(s) and complete program statistics and annual program reviews, identifying service provision issues, trends, outcomes, statistical analysis and overall evaluation of the effectiveness of the services
• Support the 24-hour Supervisor on-call system, on a rotational basis

We are currently seeking Clinical Program Supervisors to join our dynamic team.

Job Type: Full-time (two vacancies - one permanent and one maternity leave contract until June 2028)

Location: Hybrid - Head Office in Peel Region

Hours of Work: 35 hours a week (days & evenings)

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years within the mental health sector, including supervisory/leadership experience
• Registration in the appropriate professional regulatory body under the Psychotherapy Act is required
• Demonstrated leadership, clinical and administrative skills
• Knowledge and experience with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, care management, crisis intervention, youth engagement, family therapy and utilizing a trauma-informed approach
• Familiarity with child/youth and adult services in Peel and experience developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with community partners
• Fluency in French or other languages is considered an asset

Salary Range: $84,272 – $93,636, commensurate with experience
