Job summary

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) seeks a Pharmacist to support pharmacy services at the Centenary Site on a temporary basis. The Pharmacist will manage drug profiles, provide patient education, and contribute to medication safety across the medication management system.

Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring dispensary coverage while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.Sc. Phm.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)
• Licensed and registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Acute care hospital pharmacy experience
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and to assess situations and problems efficiently and effectively
• Patient oriented and patient focused
• Ability to work well within an inter-professional team and to foster effective working relationships
• Demonstrates values consistent with SHN’s Code of Conduct and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment
• Excellent work performance and attendance record
