Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join their team in Greenwood, NS. The position caters to Military Health Services with a Monday to Friday daytime schedule, ensuring work/life balance with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for compounding, dispensing, and prescribing pharmaceuticals while providing expert services in a clinic environment. Benefits include hourly compensation and medical and dental plans for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience providing direct patient care as a clinical or community pharmacist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited Canadian university.
• National board examination through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC).
• Registration and license from the provincial regulatory organization in the province of practice.

Responsibilities

Bayshore Medical Personnel is excited to announce a full-time contract opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our team in Greenwood, NS. The position is within Military Health Services and offers a Monday‑Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will compound, dispense, and prescribe pharmaceuticals, and provide pharmaceutical expert services to patients and other health‑care providers in a clinic environment.

Job Features

• Day shifts only (Monday – Friday)
• No nights, no weekends, no on‑call duties

• Medical and dental benefits available for employees working more than 22.5 hours per week

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience within the last five years providing direct patient care as a clinical or community pharmacist in a hospital or community clinic setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Canadian university accredited by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), or a graduate of a foreign university who has met provincial licensing requirements.
• National board examination through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) (with the exception of Québec).
• Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent CPR/AED Level C, with annual recertification.
• Registration and license from the provincial or territorial regulatory organization in the province of practice.

Other Requirements (coordinated by Bayshore during onboarding)

• Current N95 mask fit certificate to CSA Standards Z94.4 (valid within two years).
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification (valid within two years).
