Temporary Full Time
Salary Range: $63.76 - $75.00 /hour

Temporary employment is anticipated to extend until May 29, 2026, subject to the availability of work.

An exciting opportunity exists for the successful candidate to continue the tradition of respect, excellence, and compassion by leading teams through change while developing strategies to earn complete confidence in the care provided to patients.

Guided by St. Joseph's strategic plan, the Clinical Manager, Medicine Services will support building regional coalitions that will reach out to those most in need and close gaps in care. The incumbent will work to ensure that excellent care is accessible to everyone and will welcome every patient and family caregiver as a person with unique strengths, support networks, spirituality, physical and psychological conditions, and personal goals.

As an integral member of the Medicine Services Program, the leader works in collaboration with the Director and Physician Leaders to provide leadership and direction for the Chronic Pain Program and the Rheumatology Clinic. Responsibilities include managing human resources, administering operating budgets, leading projects to optimize care delivery, and developing quality improvement initiatives aligned with corporate goals.

Essential Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
  • Regulated Health Professional in good standing with a regulatory College
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in clinical or managerial roles
  • Superior interpersonal and leadership skills, including communication, responsiveness, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and initiative in complex scenarios
  • Experience mentoring and coaching teams to achieve goals
  • Ability to lead change in complex environments requiring clinical excellence, continuous learning, innovation, and research
  • Knowledge of quality improvement processes and project management
  • Understanding of financial management practices and cost control
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability in fast-paced settings
  • Experience collaborating with hospital and community partners to enhance patient experience
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in healthcare and compliance with OHSA
  • Ability and commitment to act as a supervisor under OHSA
  • Leadership capabilities including: Lead Self, Engage Others, Achieve Results, Develop Coalition, System Transformation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French (asset)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration
