Salary Details: The salary range for this position is CAD $49.20/Hr. - CAD $63.47/Hr.

Job Summary

Come work as a Clinical Educator with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Registered Nurse - Clinical Nursing Educator at Richmond Continuing Health Services in Richmond, BC. Apply today to join our team!

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical education services including individual and group learning assessments and opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs and resources using specialized theory and knowledge of clinical practice, teaching, and learning principles.
  • Collaborate with educators and clinical teams to promote quality improvement, resolve education issues, and coordinate educational activities.
  • Address individual and group learning needs through corrective actions.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • At least three years of recent nursing experience relevant to the clinical area, including one year of teaching or facilitation experience, or equivalent education and training.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License; local travel required with mileage reimbursement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Broad knowledge of nursing science, practice, and client/family-centered care.
  • Understanding of BCCNM standards and policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Knowledge of other health disciplines and research methodologies.
  • Effective teaching, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to develop educational materials, use critical thinking, and handle conflict resolution.
  • Physical ability to perform duties and operate equipment.
Additional Information

The work hours may vary based on operational needs. All healthcare workers must report past vaccinations or infections as per Ministry of Health policy. New hires will need to provide this information during onboarding.
