Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage a remote team of Field Nurses within an assigned geographical territory.
  2. Achieve Key Performance Indicators for clinic and nursing operations, including budget and expense controls.
  3. Monitor demand for clinic and nursing services to ensure adequate resource availability, maintaining high standards through audits and site visits.
  4. Manage clinic growth opportunities, including site identification and establishment of new clinics.
  5. Review reports related to staff training and compliance.
  6. Continuously review and manage staff availability to meet needs within the IBU.
  7. Collaborate with Scheduling Associates for efficient appointment scheduling aligned with KPIs.
  8. Be available to cover emergencies, sick calls, or clinical questions with regional support.
  9. Implement all program and departmental policies and protocols at the IBU level.
  10. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints as per policies.
  11. Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships within the assigned territory.
  12. Interview, onboard, and orient new staff; ensure adequate resourcing for new program launches.
  13. Conduct ongoing performance management, including reviews, objective setting, and training planning.
  14. Perform quarterly reviews of nursing staff to ensure policy compliance.
  15. Analyze, plan, and implement process improvements for utilization and efficiency.
  16. Ensure program requirements are met regarding processes and documentation.
  17. Maintain nurses' compliance with provincial standards and licensing requirements.
  18. Ensure all nurses are certified appropriately (RN, RPN, LPN).
  19. Travel as needed within the territory and to management meetings.
  20. Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews.
  21. Coordinate clinic visits and participate in teleconferences or web meetings.
  22. Provide specialized infusion/injection therapies and nursing services as opportunities arise.
20% KOL Management
  • Execute key deliverables to support nursing operational goals.
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with KOL partners.
15% Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Liaise with managers, case managers, and external clients to ensure seamless service delivery and program execution.
5% Administrative and Corporate Activities
  • Organize and coordinate training for new nurses.
  • Support nurses with payroll, scheduling, and concerns.
  • Review timesheets and expenses for accuracy.
  • Complete incident reports and CAPAs.
  • Ensure ongoing quality improvement and compliance with audits.
  • Perform related duties as required.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  • BScN or equivalent, or working towards it.
  • Registration with the College of Nurses required.
  • CVAA certification an asset.
  • BCLS/CPR required; ACLS optional.
  • 5-7 years nursing experience.
  • 2-5 years management or remote team experience an asset.
  • Experience in nurse training and education.
  • Experience with biotech/pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in French/English an asset.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
  • Strong clinical skills including IV initiation and assessment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems efficiently.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
