A leading health authority in Victoria is seeking a Psychologist to provide assessments and treatments for children and families. The role emphasizes patient safety and requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will have a doctoral degree and relevant licensure, along with experience in child psychology.
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, patient safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. The requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Reporting to the Program Director or Senior, and under their general direction, the psychologist provides developmental and psychological assessments and treatments for infants, children, adolescents, and their families referred to the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children's Health.
Travel may be required for this position. Transportation arrangements must meet operational requirements and may involve the use of a personal vehicle.
