A leading health authority in Victoria seeks a psychologist to provide assessments and treatments for children and their families. The role emphasizes patient safety and collaboration with other professionals. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in clinical child psychology and relevant experience.
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, patient safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. The requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Reporting to the Program Director or Senior, and under the general direction of the Program Director or Senior, Psychology, the psychologist provides developmental and psychological assessments and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, and their families referred to the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children's Health.
Travel may be required for this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority and may necessitate the use of a personal vehicle.
