Job summary

Providence Health Care’s Crosstown Clinic in Vancouver is seeking a temporary full-time Program Support Assistant to coordinate client access, manage clinic reception, and provide essential administrative support for an interdisciplinary care team.

You will maintain patient charts, schedules, and databases while assisting with purchases, inventory, and payroll processes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a harm-reduction focused setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with commercial/computer courses and medical office assistant training plus 3 years related experience.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and clinic databases.
• Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client access and clinic reception; manage appointments and inquiries.
• Maintain client charts, databases, and filing; ensure accurate, secure records.
• Support clinic operations: supplies, purchasing, inventory, and general admin duties.
• Assist Patient Care Manager with scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, and procedures.
