Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Mental Health Program Assistant to provide reception and administrative support within the Adult Community Mental Health team. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, maintain client charts and enter information into PARIS, contributing to client-focused care.

Qualifications

• Grade 12, completion of an office administration certificate plus two years' recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of general office procedures and medical terminology.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment and to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone inquiries, take messages or direct callers.
• Greet and check in clients and schedule/confirm appointments.
• Enter client information into PARIS and other databases; maintain client charts.
