Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Clinic Nurse for a one-year maternity leave coverage at our Cambridge clinic. You will provide in-home and clinic-based nursing care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with families to maintain comfort and health.

You will work on an autonomous, patient-centered team with clinical orientation and hands-on labs. The role requires RN registration in good standing with the CNO, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to travel within the designated area.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse in good standing with the CNO.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
  • Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.
  • On-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety.

Job Description This is a replacement vacancy. In this role, as a Clinic Nurse you will have scheduled appointments to care for patients in various settings. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible. This is a temporary 1-yr Maternity Leave contract. Shifts are from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and alternating weekends at our Cambridge clinic.
