Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a casual Clinic Assistant to support the Systemic Therapy & Outpatient Services department with clerical tasks and patient care. This role reports to a Director or Manager in Radiation Therapy, Systemic Therapy and Outpatient Services, Clinical Research, or Provincial Programs.

Key duties include typing, computer use, following established methods, and clear communication with patients and staff. Start date is November 2, 2026; pay band 2 applies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion required.
• Certificates in medical office/administration including medical terminology.
• Clinical placement in health sciences program.
• Ability to type and use computers; follow established methods.
• Good judgment and problem-solving; effective written and verbal communication.
• Respect for confidentiality and culturally responsive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and basic patient care tasks.
• Follow established methods and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist the department under supervision of a Director or Manager.
• Support Radiation Therapy, Systemic Therapy and Outpatient Services, Clinical Research, or Provincial Programs.
