Job summary

A leading testing services provider in Ottawa is looking for a Client Services Representative to join their team. In this role, you will support laboratory operations by managing client samples and utilizing LIMS for data entry. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a year of experience in client services, and knowledge of IT applications. This position offers a full-time schedule with an hourly rate of CAD 20.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of IT and PC applications and software.
• Laboratory experience considered an asset.
• Self-starter, ambitious and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Receiving samples from clients at the counter directly or by courier delivery.
• Using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to log-in the samples.
• Preparing bottles for client pick-up or shipping.

Skills

Good understanding of IT and PC applications

Good communication skills

Knowledge of environmental samples

Strong organizational skills

Excellent telephone and people skills

Education

1 year of experience in a client services environment
