Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a Pension Analyst to support defined benefit pension plan administration. You will use analytical skills daily while collaborating with a dedicated team in a hybrid setting, combining in-office and remote work.

The role emphasizes accurate data analysis, annual statement production support, and responding to participant and trustee inquiries. Bilingual French is strongly preferred, with English as an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Actuarial Science or another relevant field of study.
• Sharp analytical thinking and attention to details.
• Dedicated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French; English would be an asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Calculating various benefits in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.
• Analyzing and interpret pension plan rules and applicable regulations.
• Contributing to the production and verification of annual statements.
• Participating in the analysis and validation of annual and/or periodic data.
• Serving the team on mandates and special projects.
• Improving client satisfaction by listening to needs and responding to inquiries from participants and trustees.
• Suggesting improvements to processes.

Your responsibilities

• Calculating various benefits in accordance with applicable regulations and laws

Salary Range: $ 40,000 - $60,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
