Job summary

RBC in Whistler is seeking a Client Advisor to deliver personal banking experiences. You will engage clients in-branch and within the Sea to Sky corridor, educate on digital banking, and guide them through transactions while identifying sales opportunities.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, problem-solving, and collaboration with RBC partners to support client goals. Full-time, salaried position based in Whistler.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada) is required.
• Proven ability to work in a target-driven sales environment.
• Strong problem-solving and people skills; build lasting client relationships.
• Digital literacy across devices (phones, tablets, laptops) essential.
• Flexibility to work all open business hours and adapt to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in-branch and community to uncover banking needs and referrals.
• Educate clients using digital tools to deliver memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
• Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions and online banking tasks.
• Listen actively to understand individual client needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Partner with RBC teams to refer complex opportunities and grow client relationships.
