Job summary

Dokainish & Company is seeking an Associate Consultant in Toronto to support project planning, execution, and delivery across diverse client engagements. You will work with senior consultants to apply project management principles in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The role emphasizes collaborative delivery, analytical rigor, and proactive stakeholder engagement in a non-entry level capacity. Local candidates based in Toronto preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in project management, project controls, consulting, or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks.
• Prior experience in a client-facing or professional services environment is a strong asset.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, capital projects, or regulated industries is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and project teams to plan, develop, and manage project work, ensuring alignment with client requirements and objectives.
• Support the preparation of project plans, schedules, and status reports, monitoring progress against milestones and flagging risks or variances.
• Maintain organized project documentation and contribute to change control, action tracking, and issue logs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the preparation and review of client-facing communications, presentations, and reports, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions, contributing to the capture of requirements and the communication of project updates.
