Job summary

Assomption Life in Moncton, NB is seeking a bilingual customer service representative for individual insurance services. You will answer calls and emails for premium payors and brokers, giving clear information and handling routine administrative tasks with discretion.

You must be organized, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality while providing high-quality service and supporting product inquiries about active and inactive policies.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication in French and English, written and spoken.
  • Post-secondary diploma in administration or equivalent experience is an asset.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service or telephone service.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Enjoy working with the public and possess good communication skills.
  • Good judgment, tact, diplomacy and politeness.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to questions and requests by telephone or e-mail from clients and brokers about Assomption Life's products.
  • Process customer requests such as sending documents, changing addresses, refunds or dividends, handling returned mail.
  • Comply with service standards established by the sector.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of work methods and procedures.

Job description

This position, within the Individual Insurance Services, is responsible for providing courteous and professional customer service to premium payors and brokers. The incumbent responds to incoming calls and emails and provides clear, accurate information about a broad range of individual life insurance products.

The role also includes administrative duties related to file management and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential information.

The ability to learn, work collaboratively, and adapt to a dynamic work environment is essential. The incumbent must demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, follow established procedures, and maintain a high standard of service quality.
