Job summary

Desjardins in Montreal West is seeking a life and health insurance advisor to help develop processes and programs, prepare contracts, administer reinsurance and settle complex medical matters. You will advise clients and partners, propose solutions, and drive initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.

You bring at least four years of experience, a related bachelor's degree, and strong French/English communication.

• Proven communication skills in French and English, both oral and written.

As a life and health insurance advisor, you help develop life and health insurance processes and programs, prepare documents and insurance contracts, administer reinsurance agreements and settle contested medical matters. You advise and assist clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

More specifically, you will be required to :

• Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes
• Develop and help implement objectives, solutions and action plans
• Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports
• Execute or help carry out special initiatives.
