Reporting to the Program Manager – International Training, the Client Development Lead will create training opportunities for NAIT’s international clients. The role involves developing new business, building relationships with international communities, and promoting training and mentorship programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new international business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international clients, governments, and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage sales processes, including government-funded projects.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Improve training products and marketing based on regional cultural considerations.
  • Contribute to business development strategies.
  • Track sales performance and address challenges proactively.
  • Travel for trade shows, events, and conferences internationally.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed of regulatory requirements in target markets.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop training solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager on cultural and strategic insights.
  • Implement continuous improvements in systems and processes.

Skills & Abilities

  • Available to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
  • Experience in relationship-building with international clients or communities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, diverse environments.
  • Culturally competent and diplomatic in client relations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with collaborative skills.
  • Experience in proposal development and managing budgets.
  • Proficient in prioritizing and managing deadlines.
  • Comfortable with software tools for reporting and communication.
  • Fluency in another widely spoken language is an asset.
  • Experience with CRM and learning management systems is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solver with solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years in international / client relationship development.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain visas as needed.

Applicants with foreign credentials should have them evaluated by WES or IQAS.

Remuneration : $82,189.64 - $108,886.96 annually, plus benefits.
