A leading Digital Marketing Agency based in Toronto, Canada with 80+ professionals is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to generate new business related to digital marketing projects in the US.
You will be working remotely, reporting directly to the Canadian office.
Position Overview :
ALM Corp is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our presence in the US . This role will spearhead business strategies, build client relationships, and identify opportunities for scaling the agency's digital services.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership :
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with ALM Corp’s goals in the US
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities to position ALM Corp as a leader in the digital agency space.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Drive client acquisition efforts, including identifying, pitching, and closing new business opportunities.
- Foster long-term partnerships with high-value clients to ensure recurring revenue.
- Market Expansion :
- Research and analyze the digital marketing landscape in the US to identify untapped opportunities.
- Establish a robust presence in the US market by networking with local businesses and industry leaders.
- Collaborate with local partners to expand ALM Corp's regional footprint.
- Revenue Growth :
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets by developing and executing effective sales and marketing plans.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the agency's existing portfolio of digital marketing services.
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, creative, and technical) to align business development efforts with service capabilities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior business development team members.
- Brand Representation :
- Represent ALM Corp at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the agency’s services and offerings.
- Act as a thought leader in digital marketing trends
Qualifications :
- Experience :
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a similar leadership role within a digital agency or related industry.
- Deep knowledge of the US market
- Skills :
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical skills to identify market opportunities and develop data-driven strategies.
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a competitive environment.
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
