Job summary

RBC is seeking a client-focused banking professional to engage with clients in-branch and the community, guiding them through everyday banking, credit and investment needs. You will educate clients, demonstrate digital banking, and refer complex opportunities to specialists to foster loyalty and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, relationship-building, and collaboration with RBC partners to maximize sales opportunities in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
• Demonstrated passion for putting clients first in a target-driven sales environment
• Problem-solving and people skills with the ability to build relationships
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and hunger for success
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
• Bilingual English and French required for regular client service

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in-branch and community to uncover banking needs and sales/referral opportunities
• Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging tech to deliver a memorable experience
• Respond to client-initiated contact and assist with a full range of financial transactions
• Actively listen to understand individual client needs
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
• Cultivate relationships with RBC partners to maximize business opportunities
