Job summary

Vancouver Veterinary Hospital on Kingsway in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a friendly Client Care/Receptionist to greet clients, screen calls, book appointments, and provide non-medical information with genuine care.

You will join a collaborative team of RVTs and client care staff, with flexible full-time or part-time schedules and access to VetCare community programs and a learning platform.

About the Role

Our ideal Client Care/Receptionist builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. This involves greeting and checking-in clients in a friendly and warm manner; receiving incoming calls from current and prospective clients utilizing a courteous and caring approach. This person will appropriately screen calls, book appointments, take detailed messages as well as provide knowledgeable non-medical information to clients. Responsibilities also include performing a variety of administrative office tasks, including mail (receiving, sorting, distributing, posting), drafting memos and other correspondence, completing reports and other ad-hoc document requests.
