Position Summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Clerk, Receptionist to join Northern Health.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Clerk performs a variety of administrative support functions in accordance with Northern Health policies and procedures such as completing client documentation, word processing, data entry, scheduling appointments, preparing routine correspondence and reports, filing and operating office equipment.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 plus 1 (one) year recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to type at 50 w.p.m.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work.
