Job summary

Dollarama in Montreal, QC seeks a Clerk in the Replenishment department reporting to the Supervisor of the Item Management team. You will maintain accurate product measurements and enter detailed item specifications into the system to ensure data quality and compliance.

You will collaborate with Buyers and Merchandising, update item data in Excel and SAP, maintain bilingual descriptions, and support related article management tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/DEC/AEC in Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in an administrative role or data entry.
• Experience in the retail sector is an asset.
• Strong organizational and observational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement between departments and showroom locations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office with a good knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.

This role ensures that all product data is accurate, complete, and compliant, while also ensuring quality control of the items.

Key Accountabilities

• Create new products in SAP;
• Measure physical items (ex. dimensions, weight, volume);
• Verify that all samples and items accurately meet design requirements, technical specifications, packaging standards, and customer expectations;
• Identify and report discrepancies or inconsistencies;
• Collaborate closely with Buyers and Merchandising to communicate findings;
• Enter item specifications and attributes (such as material type) into Excel database;
• Verify and update existing item data to ensure accuracy;
• Update the product information such as cost, retail, and listing;
• Maintain item descriptions, in both English and French;
• Support the Article Management team for any other related tasks.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, DEC or AEC in Administration or related field;
• One (1) to two (2) years of experience in an administrative role or data entry function;
• Experience in the retail sector is an asset;
• Strong organizational and observational skills with a keen attention to detail to identify quality inconsistencies;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement between departments and showroom locations;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Knowledge of the MS Office suite with a good knowledge of Excel;
