Job summary

Lake Country Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the position of full-time Clerk at our Home Centre location in Big River, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, responsibilities include delivering Legendary Service at all touch points, assisting guests with item selection, performing receiving, stocking, POS operations, pricing, displaying, inventory counts, and maintaining cleanliness, order and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Assist guest with item selection and make recommendations based on an inquiring approach.
• Perform receiving of merchandise, stocking, operation of point-of-sale system (POS), pricing, displaying, selling, conduct inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness, rotation and order of merchandise and load products into customer vehicles as assigned.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Can fulfil physical job requirements, standing, crouching, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, working outside and inside.
• POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
