Job summary

Lake Country Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the Permanent Part-Time Yard Clerk position (24-39 hours/week) at our Home Centre location in Shell Lake, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, responsibilities include supporting safety principles, providing Legendary Service, loading/unloading merchandise, fulfilling orders, inventory counts, and paperwork.

Experience in home and building materials is preferred; a Class 3 Driver's license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the behaviors to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Load and unload merchandise and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
• Fill orders, receive freight, unload product, perform inventory counts.
• Perform customer carry-out service and product assembly as assigned.
• Complete required paperwork based on department standards.
• Support Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Experience in home and building materials; Class 3 Drivers license is an asset.
• Be honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work you do.
• Be well organized with high production and minimal supervision.
• Fulfill physical job requirements (standing, crouching, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, outdoors/indoors).
• Willing and able to obtain forklift certification.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
