Job summary

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for a full-time Clerk at our Home Centre location in Big River, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, you will demonstrate service-minded behaviors and assist guests with item selection and recommendations.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, operating the POS system, pricing, and maintaining displays. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with POS and cash handling.

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Clerk at our Home Centre location in Big River, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Assist guest with item selection and make recommendations based on an inquiring approach.
• Perform receiving of merchandise, stocking, operation of point-of-sale system (POS), pricing, displaying, selling, conduct inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness, rotation and order of merchandise and load products into customer vehicles as assigned.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Can fulfil physical job requirements, standing, crouching, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, working outside and inside.
• POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
