Job summary

Lake Country Co-operative Association Limited in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, is seeking a part-time Clerk (24-39 hours/week) at our Home Centre location. You will assist members, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store presentation with a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate behaviors to support the co-op's vision, mission, and safety principles with a customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service across touchpoints and channels.
• Assist guests with item selection and recommendations.
• Receive merchandise, stock shelves, operate the POS system, price and display items, and conduct inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness, rotation, and order of merchandise and assist with loading products into customer vehicles.
• Support Asset Protection and Safety policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Assist guest with item selection and make recommendations based on an inquiring approach.
• Perform receiving of merchandise, stocking, operation of point-of-sale system (POS), pricing, displaying, selling, conduct inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness, rotation and order of merchandise and load products into customer vehicles as assigned.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

Who You Are

• Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
• Attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
• POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing, crouching, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50lbs, and working outside and inside.
• Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
