Full-time and part-time opportunities
Take pride in your work. Feel supported doing it.
A welcoming mountain stay begins with the people who prepare it.
At Strathcona Summit Solutions, we take cleaning seriously—and believe the people doing it deserve clear expectations, practical support and respectful treatment.
We’re a locally owned vacation rental management and cleaning company based at Mount Washington, with a strong hospitality background. We’re looking for reliable, thoughtful people who notice the details and care about preparing clean, comfortable homes for arriving guests.
Cleaning or hospitality experience is helpful. If you’re ready to learn, we provide paid, hands-on training.
Our peak periods are December 26, 2026-January 2, 2027 and February 15, 2027. Planned time‑off requests cannot be accommodated during these dates.
Looking for extra work over the holidays? Let us know if you’re available for additional December and early‑January shifts.
The work
You’ll clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas; make beds; handle laundry; replenish guest supplies; and collect garbage and recycling.
You’ll follow property instructions and digital checklists, report maintenance concerns and supply shortages, and complete a final walkthrough before leaving. Cleaning and organizing your equipment is part of each shift.
Most days begin with a meeting and preparation at our mountain office. A typical eight-hour paid shift includes around seven hours of cleaning, with the remaining time built in for meetings, equipment preparation, travel between properties and end‑of‑day equipment care. Some assignments are independent; others are completed with a partner.
This is physically active work involving repeated bending, kneeling, reaching, stairs, bed‑making, and carrying laundry and supplies. Winter access includes walking through snow and on slippery paths. You may pull an SSS‑provided toboggan carrying cleaning gear through the Alpine Village. Safe handling is covered during training, and we ask you to speak up when you need help.
