Cleaning Supervisor – Impact Cleaning Services

Impact Cleaning Services is hiring a Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning teams and uphold the highest cleaning standards across all properties. The Cleaning Supervisor bridges the Operations and Cleaning teams, ensuring that every location meets or exceeds contractual and operational expectations.

Base Pay Range

CA$18.00/hr – CA$22.00/hr. Actual pay is based on experience and skill level.

Main Purpose of the Job

Every property has a Cleaning Team, and the Cleaning Supervisor is the head of that team. The Cleaning Supervisor acts as a bridge between Operations and Cleaning, sharing knowledge and resources so the Cleaning and Operations teams remain connected and cohesive. Your purpose is to create the world’s cleanest commercial properties.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage all cleaning and related services within your accounts.
  • Ensure services are delivered to the standards outlined in each contract, scope of work, or standard operating procedure.
  • Monitor account productivity for assigned locations and contracts.
  • Manage equipment and supplies for assigned accounts.
  • Recognize and act on opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Complete regular inspections to ensure quality of the service product.
  • Manage all employees and service providers, ensuring they support the corporate philosophy, objectives, and vision.
  • Manage labor, supplies, and other operational costs within budget.
  • Complete a Workplace Inspection Checklist for each account on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Work with the operations team to identify areas for improvement within accounts.
  • Ensure all account documents, scopes, schedules, and memorandums are up to date.
  • Ensure staff are in uniform and proper working attire during scheduled hours.
  • Provide health & safety and job‑specific training to account staff.
  • Establish par levels for inventory and order as required, focusing on cost savings.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning staff.
  • Coach, mentor, support on‑site staff and engage with them regularly.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role (preferred).
  • WHMIS certification.
  • Occupational Health and Safety certification.
  • Proficiency with smartphones and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to complete a security background check in good standing.
  • Passion for problem solving.
  • Concern for workplace health and safety.
  • Immensely proud of the quality of your work.
Working Conditions

Full‑time on‑site. May be required to work after‑hours, as well as weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements
  • Strength: May need to lift boxes and other office items up to 20 pounds and cleaning products and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Motion: May be required to sit, stand, operate light equipment and vehicles for extended periods of time.
  • Vision and Hearing: May need to spend extended periods in front of a computer screen and adapt to driving conditions.
  • Psychological: May be required to solve problems, provide analysis, make quick decisions, performance manage, and provide disciplinary action to direct reports.
