Responsibilities

• Post-Construction Cleaning: clean newly built/renovated apartments, remove debris, dust, dirt from floors, walls, windows, and surfaces.
• Trash Removal: collect and dispose of construction debris and leftover materials.
• Detailed Cleaning: sweep, mop, vacuum floors; wipe and sanitize countertops, cabinets, appliances; clean windows and bathrooms.
• Dusting & Surface Cleaning: dust and wipe light fixtures, baseboards, vents, and surfaces.
• Equipment Maintenance: ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and safely used.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follow safety protocols and wear protective gear when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Inspection: perform final inspection to ensure high cleaning standards before handover.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our team in providing post-construction cleaning services for apartment buildings. This role is responsible for ensuring that newly built or renovated apartments are thoroughly cleaned and ready for occupancy. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is located in Kingston, ON.

Key Responsibilities

Post-Construction Cleaning

Clean newly constructed or renovated apartments, including removing construction debris, dust, and dirt from floors, walls, windows, and surfaces.

Trash Removal

Collect and dispose of construction debris, leftover materials, and other trash from the premises.

Detailed Cleaning

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, including carpets and tile surfaces.
• Wipe down and sanitize countertops, cabinets, and appliances.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Scrub and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and floors.

Dusting & Surface Cleaning

Dust and wipe down light fixtures, baseboards, vents, and other surfaces.

Equipment Maintenance

Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and used safely.

Health and Safety Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Inspection

Perform final inspection of apartments to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard before handover to property managers or tenants.
