Job summary

Thorwin Properties is seeking a full-time Cleaner in Winnipeg, MB. Responsibilities include cleaning apartment homes and common areas to Management standards, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required, as is the ability to work a 40-hour daytime schedule. We offer competitive salary and benefits including health, dental, life & disability insurance, a pension, free parking, EAP, paid vacation and sick time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of apartment homes and public areas to Management standards.
• Perform suite and building cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, windows, dusting, fixtures, etc.).
• Clean grounds including litter control and animal clean up.
• Work safely and in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Other duties as required by management.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours a week. Daytime availability is required.

What you will do

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Cleanerduties include, but not limited to:

Maintaining the cleanliness of the apartment homes to the standard of Management:

• Performs suite and building cleaning duties following Company standards in apartment homes and building public areas including, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping all floors including stairwells, cleaning windows, dusting all surfaces, cleaning light fixtures, wiping mailboxes, washing walls, etc.
• Cleaning of grounds including litter control and animal clean up.
• Execute all work in a safe, professional manner and in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications / Skills:

Education/Experience

• Must be physically able to bend, kneel, stretch, sweep, mop, shovel, climb stairs and lift 50 lbs.
• Physical ability to move, pull and push furniture if required.
