Job summary

Dexterra Group in Victoria, BC is hiring a part-time night cleaner to join our facilities team. You will perform routine cleaning tasks in a professional environment, maintaining floors, washrooms, and common areas while ensuring a safe, sanitary space.

• Dust accessible surfaces (booths, countertops, pillars, fixtures)
• Spot clean lobby floors and wash thoroughly as needed
• Vacuum entrance mats in lobbies

Your Work Will Include

• Maintaining the floors, washrooms and garbage bins of the facility
• Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms, common and play areas
• Replenishing any used or missing supplies (toilet rolls, hand towels, hand soap)
• Dusting all visible surfaces within reach which includes phone booths, counter tops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges and vents
• Spot cleaning all lobby floors and wash thoroughly as required
• Vacuuming all entrance mats in lobbies

Qualifications

Who You Are: You’re reliable, take pride in your work, and enjoy being part of a team that values quality and consistency. You’ll be working Friday and Saturday, 8 hours per night, earning $18.25/hour and becoming eligible for benefits after 3 full-time months.

You Bring

• A great attitude and strong work ethic
• At least 6 months of cleaning experience
• Comfort standing for long periods and using cleaning products
• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Clear and respectful communication with your supervisor, client, and team
• A clear criminal background check
