Job summary

Homestead Land Holdings Limited is seeking a full-time Cleaner in North York, ON to help maintain cleanliness and safety across lobbies, hallways, elevators, and amenity spaces. The role involves routine cleaning, waste management, and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Expect 40 hours per week with weekend shifts every other week; prior cleaning experience is preferred, with the ability to lift up to 20 kg and work safely and reliably while delivering strong service to

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and general cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, etc.
• Clean tenant units upon vacancy, including kitchens and bathrooms.
• Winter snow removal as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Cleaner

Location: North York, ON

Type: Existing vacancy

Hours: 40 hours per week, includes weekend shifts every other week

Compensation Range (includes salary & shift premium): $41,500-$47,000

Description

As a Cleaner at Homestead, you will help us to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our spaces. This includes regularly cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenity spaces. You will ensure garbage and recycling rooms are well maintained. Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors while following established cleaning routines.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Vacuuming, etc.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, Fitness rooms
• Tenant units upon vacancy (including bathrooms, kitchens (ovens & fridges)
• Winter snow removal
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (e.g., trash bags, cleaning equipment)
• Reliability, attention to detail, and safe work practices are essential
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
