Job summary

Homestead Land Holdings Limited in Kingston, Ontario, is seeking a Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our spaces, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenity areas. You will ensure garbage and recycling rooms are well maintained and follow established cleaning routines.

The position offers 40 hours per week with weekend shifts every other week. Compensation ranges from CAD 40,500 to CAD 44,500 per year and includes a shift premium.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (e.g., trash bags, cleaning equipment).
• Reliability, attention to detail, and safe work practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness of elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, Fitness rooms.
• Tenant units upon vacancy (including bathrooms, kitchens, ovens & fridges).
• Winter snow removal.
• Other duties as required

Overview

As a Cleaner at Homestead, you will help us to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our spaces. This includes regularly cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenity spaces. You will ensure garbage and recycling rooms are well maintained. Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors while following established cleaning routines.
