Job summary

Stubbe's Precast Commercial Ltd is seeking a diligent cleaning associate to maintain sanitation and tidiness across our Harley, Ontario site. The role requires reliable transportation due to rural location and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends.

You will be responsible for dusting, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and maintaining supplies. The position offers year-round steady work with a competitive starting rate and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning and maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Dusting and cleaning vents, surfaces, and counters.
• Sweep, scrub, mop floors; vacuum carpets; basic stain removal.
• Clean bathrooms; windows and glass surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report repairs and inventory needs.
• Work evenings or weekends if required.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of products.
• Keep public spaces neat and stocked.

Stubbe’s is a reputable family-owned and operated company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Stubbe’s started as a small precast company catering to the agricultural market and have since grown into a diversified company offering a wide range of concrete-related products and services.

Position is located in in Harley, ON (between Brantford and Woodstock), must have reliable transportation as we are located in a rural area.

Your Day to Day:

• Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
• Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
• Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, performs further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers
• Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, showers and toilets in private and public bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
• Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
• Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
• Keeping office commodities fully stocked
• Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job
