Job summary

Stubbe's Precast in Fergus, Ontario is hiring for Total Precast Installers to join a growing team. You will perform on-site layout, rig and install precast components, and ensure correct erection according to drawings.

The role is outdoors all year, involves occasional company-paid travel, and requires reading of blueprints, attention to safety, teamwork, and reliability. We offer competitive pay, overtime, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to read tape measure (metric/imperial) and drawings.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Welding education or experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• On-site layout for precast erection.
• Rig and install various precast components.
• Ensure components are erected in proper order.
• Ensure drawings are followed for bearing and connections.
• Read blueprints and details.
• Make proper connections as per drawings.
• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Other activities as requested by management.
