Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd. (E360S) seeks a dedicated driver to safely operate Class 5 vehicles with air brakes and service customers on recycling routes in Calgary.

This role combines 40% physical labor with 60% driving and requires meeting the job's physical demands, starting from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, collecting recyclables, handling cardboard, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class 5 or 3 license with air brakes.
• 2–3 years driving experience on Class 3 or 5 vehicles.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Year-round work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Safely operate one or more Class 5 Type vehicle with Air brakes to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to be able to meet physical demands of the job. Will be dealing with mainly plastic's (recycling) Shift - 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Position Responsibilities

• Operate one or more vehicle types with both automatic and standard transmissions and collect recyclables.
• some sites would require to work with either manual or electronic jacks – Cardboard bales at some locations to collect/ deliver.
• Maneuver wood bins on caster wheels (200kg-300kg) Schafer bins, and at times bankers boxes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by the supervisor daily
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately. Operate truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-induced mechanical failures.
• Follow safety standards, equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all national, provincial, local and rules on safety and vehicle operation.
• Maintain a clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle.
• Attend daily safety meetings as per site requirements.
• Position is 40% physical labour and 60% driving.

Position Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
• Possess a valid Class 5 or 3 License with air brakes
• 2-3 years of satisfactory driving experience of Class 3 or Class 5 vehicles preferred
• Experience driving all types of collection equipment is desired
• Must be able to pass D&A testing
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 80 lbs
• This will be year round work in all weather conditions
