Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a local driver to perform deliveries in Saskatoon and surrounding areas. You will use a wheeler, pallet jack, and tailgate as required to load and unload freight.

The role requires a Class 5 license and about 1 year of city pickup and delivery experience, with reliability and physical fitness being essential. The schedule runs 7:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 5 license.
• 1 year of City Pick-up and Delivery experience.
• Reliable and dependable.
• PHYSICALLY FIT.
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets.
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.

Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries within Saskatoon and surrounding area promptly.
• Plan, load, and unload freight to customers in the Saskatoon area.
• Work schedule from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with flexibility to meet customer needs.

Job Description

This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries within Saskatoon and the surrounding area promptly by carrying and using a wheeler, a pallet jack, and a tailgate as required.

Must be able to plan, load, and unload freight to a variety of customers in the Saskatoon area.

A schedule consists of working hours: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to meet customer needs.
