Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Granby is hiring a Class 1 driver for a full-time, Monday to Friday role from 8:00 to 17:00. You will transport metals to customers and AIM sites, perform pre-trip inspections, and assist with loading/unloading while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class 1 licence, 2+ years of driving experience, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 FM driver’s licence with a good driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• Conscientious about Health and Safety.
• Excellent physical condition.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Reliable, diligent, and punctual.
• Strong respect for equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Transport metals to customers and AIM sites.
• Perform inspection rounds before trips.
• Assist in loading and unloading the trailer.
• Uphold safety standards as required by law and company policy.
• Operate different types of heavy vehicles as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
