Job summary

Russet Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a reliable truck driver to move goods across Alberta. The role requires attention to detail and punctual deliveries. You will operate tractor-trailer equipment, perform safety checks, and ensure cargo is secured.

On-site work only; a valid Class 1/A license with Air Brakes endorsements is required. Demonstrated experience in pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years truck driving experience.
• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
