Job summary

Lower Nicola Site Services (LNSS) is seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to support projects across Western Canada. You will operate dump, water and plow trucks, transport materials, and perform daily safety inspections in Merritt, BC.

A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work independently are essential. Qualified candidates have a Class 1 license with a clean abstract and at least 3 years of heavy-truck experience.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating heavy trucks.
• Experience hauling aggregate and using tandem/tridem/pup trailers.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks, water trucks, plow trucks and trailers.
• Transport materials to and from job sites.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Complete daily logs (ELD) and incident/maintenance documentation.
• Perform minor maintenance such as greasing and washing.
• Assist in material handling, loading/unloading, site cleanup.
• Maintain clean and hazard-free work zones.
• Represent LNSS professionally.
• Perform other duties to support site operations.
