Clean Harbors, Inc. in Sparwood, BC is seeking a Professional Class 1 Semi Vac Driver to join our safety-conscious team. You will operate a Semi Vac and related equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between generators and Clean Harbors facilities.

Experience navigating manual transmission and prior Semi-Vac experience are required. We offer health benefits after 30 days, training, RRSP with company matching, and growth opportunities within a nationwide environmental services

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 license.
• Experience driving manual transmission.
• Prior Semi-vac experience required.
• Ability to operate Combo units, Hydrovac, Wet vac, Trailers, Tankers is an asset.
• Experience with heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance/repair.
• Willingness to work night shifts and travel out of town if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving a Semi Vac and other equipment to and from work sites.
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods.
• Performing pre and post trip inspections.
• Communicating clearly with dispatchers.
• Performing roadside repairs as needed.
• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

Clean Harbors in Sparwood, BC is looking for Professional Class 1 Semi Vac Drivers to join our safety conscious team!

Our experienced EO/Drivers may also operate wet vac trucks, trailers, tankers, combo units, hydro vacs, and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently hold a Class 1 license.
• Experience driving manual transmission.
• Prior Semi-vac experience required.
• Ability to operate Combo units, Hydrovac, Wet vac, Trailers, Tankers is an asset.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to work a nightshift and travel of out town if needed.
• Willingness to complete a drug test, and physical.
