Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Professional Vac/Combo Vac Class 3 Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Calgary or Red Deer. The role involves operating Combo Vac and other equipment, loading/unloading hazardous and non-hazardous goods, and performing routine inspections.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 3 license with experience in manual transmission, Semi-vac, and heavy equipment operation, with flexibility for night shifts and potential local travel.

Qualifications

• Currently hold a Class 3 license.
• Experience driving manual transmission.
• Prior Semi-vac experience required.
• Ability to operate Combo units, Hydrovac, Wet vac, Trailers, Tankers is an asset.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to work a nightshift and travel out of town if needed.
• Willingness to complete a drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving a Combo Vac and straight Vac other equipment to and from work sites;
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods;
• Performing pre and post trip inspections;
• Communicating clearly with dispatchers;
• Doing roadside repairs as needed;
• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

Clean Harbors is looking for Professional Vac/ Combo Vac Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious team in either Calgary or Red Deer!

Our experienced EO/Drivers may also operate wet vac trucks, trailers, tankers, combo units, hydro vacs, and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.
