Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
• FAST Card for cross border.
• Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract.
• Verifiable recent commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating in winter driving conditions.
• Ability to accurately complete eLogs and delivery documentation.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as required.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of Vancouver and surrounding areas.
• Experience operating equipment such as tailgates, forklifts, pallet jacks, pump trucks, or Moffett’s.
• Ability to safely perform hand-bombing and manual loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across Canada and the United States.
• Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Canada and the United States safely and on time.
• Operate tractor-trailer, flatbed, dry van, reefer or straight truck in line with policies and regulations.
• Secure freight using straps, chains, and load bars and ensure load security.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Complete required documentation including e-logs, inspection reports, and delivery paperwork.
• Maintain compliance with hours-of-service and safety policies.
• Adapt to variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across Canada and the United States
• Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations withinCanada and the United Statesin a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Operate tractor-trailer, flatbed, dry van, reefer or straight truck equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standards
• Transport general freight in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
• Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
• Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required

Core Requirements
